i dont see how it could be any easier to use wifi

auto connect to wifi hotspots when you get near one,im not if there is a program for that.
i personally do not want my phone constantly serching for a signal till i need it

Yeah you wouldn't want that cause it would just tear down your battery. I can safely say I have not used my wifi at all with this phone. It is just way too easy to just pay the $15/mo for unlimited data and not have to worry about data usage.

I only pay $10/month for unlimited data on a family plan, but I still use WiFi sometimes. It's quite a bit faster. However, I don't use open public hot spots. Too much of a security risk. I just have various WiFi routers (home, work, and friend's) in my Internet destination that have higher priority than AT&T. Works great. Connects to my known routers when available, but uses AT&T when not.

Yeah I use to have $10/mo, but at&t caught on I think while I was using my Palm and said I could not be on the $10/mo plan unless I also had a $30/mo family messaging plan or something like that. So I just went back to the $15/mo.
