well my wife decided that my phone needed a cleaning and it got placed in the washer Angry Angry. well was wondering if anybody else had a similar issue. i know the battery is fried. i just bought a new one and when it arrives will see if she will wake back up. for some reason the wife says she did not know it was in my pant's pocket, however she removed my wallet that was in the same pant's. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes ::)i really wish she forgot the wallet and got the phone out!!!

That sucks man. Hopefully the battery fixes it. I am assuming you opened everything you could on it, which is not much and let it air out?

yes it is aired out. i just about completely dissassembled it too, atleast as much as i could. i was also recommended to place in a bag of rice for several days. apparently it will absorb the water too. yeah i know it sucks. this is the second phone the wife has washed. of course her response is, then do your own laundry! uh, why don't you check the pockets first!!!

But, i hope it gets fixed, maybe leave it disassembled for a couple of days just to be sure?

Ouch! Good luck, man. It may actually survive. The main issue (if it does boot up) will likely be the touch screen. If there is moisture inside the digitizer it will mess up the touch screen.
