There are emulators for mobiles on the net but the one or two that I've seen when I was messing around with wap, were very simple affairs.

I'm looking for one that will accept .sis and .jar apps and to get similar responses that you get when you use your own phone.

It would be much easier to use a web based emulator than go through the time consuming affair of connecting the phone to the computer, entering the app, getting the now familiar "Certificate out of date" warning and have to take the failed app off the phone again and try another one.

Either an emulator or a software that tells you the state of the app (weather its in date or not) would be such a time saver.

Thanks.

did you do a hard reset of your phone when you got it?  *#7370#
this will wipe the phone completly and you will havr to start over...little bit of a pain, but i do it 3-4 times a year to keep my phone/mini computer running fastfastfast
it will take care of the certifice error, unless the app is not signed, which is the case for most good apps for s60.

look into signing your own apps...it was the best thing ive done to get apps
i dont remember where i did it,but i just gave my imie number and they sent me the certificate
