When I first got the phone I recieved a lot of unwanted Premium Texts that I didn't want and wasn't interested in. I contacted T-mobile ( the service provider) and complained that they were charging me for recieving texts from persons I didn't know.

Anyway they said sorry and didn't charge me for them and put a stop on Premium's in the future.

Got a bill this morning with 3 more Premium texts on it (came to £4.50) and rung them complaining about it again with the same outcome as last time.

My question is, can I stop these texts myself, is there any free software that tells these jerks not to bother.

Thanks a lot.

A lot of sites that give away free stuff (wallpapers, ringtones, music, etc.) are just harvesting phone numbers to sell to advertising companies. So if you use any of those sites to send a free whatever to your phone your number is added to a list that later gets sold off to companies that spam you.

No, I've never given out the mobile number to anyone, well my doctors got it and half a dozen women, but I can't see them running off to sell my number to anyone. The women want me for them selves. lol (Doctors a young lady too)

But I understand what you are saying.

I'll leave it for a month and see if T-mobile are able to stop the texts this time.

Thanks guy's.
