Go to settings/phone/display and click on font size. By changing the font size, it will change your icon size as well.

The thing I hate is that when I select "small" it gets rid of all the font names unless you are holding down with your finger on one of them. I wish it would just have made them smaller with the small font too. Oh well, so now I am leaving it on normal to keep the font with the apps. I know I can get the small font by changing the view to "list" instead of "grid" but I like the "grid" more. Let me know if you need any other help.
