Okay, new product code in Navifirm (NSU).

0592207: 5800 RM-428 NAM Region US Black FREE NAVI V2

So now there is an actual "NAM" US code to use.

If you are still under warranty, then sorry, the other more common NAM codes are not supported yet (0577454 XM, 0591814 Navi)...

I had already flashed with 0574994, but went ahead and re-flashed with the new NAM PC. No problems so far...

Well its only about time that the 50 update was available via Nokia updater for my version of RM-428.
Its software version 51.2.007
The only thing I notice right away is moving from one screen to another is more responsive.
I don't see any improvement with Real Player as I use that alot to get Windows Media feeds.
I not sure what else I should be seeing in this version if anyone knows please let me know.  Thanks.
