Yeah my phone does certain things like that also at times. If it starts doing it repeatedly, I just reboot it and it seems to fix the issue for the time being. What version do you have? Cause I also think it has something to do with v50. I could be wrong though. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Rebooting the phone may help. Also, go into the browser's options menu, then to clear privacy data, and clear all. Do that before you reboot (if you can).

If you have a lot of saved password you want to retain, then instead of "clear all" just individually clear the cache, history and cookies.

The browser in various firmwares peforms differently. Faster in some, more stable in some, etc. The v50 firmware seems to have improved the browser considerably over v30 & v40. It is very fast and stable now, with some nice extras like auto-full-screen and a progress bar in full-screen mode. It also has kinetic scrolling, but I don't know if that is really an "improvement" since it has some annoying side affects.

I'm really liking the browser in v50. In fact, I posted this from my 5800 XM using the Nokia browser.
