im thinking about getting one.
basicly it is the exact same phone with 16gb internal memory,5mp camera and captive touch screen.

i love my 5800,and im scared to go to a new phone/symbian3 when the 5800 does everything i need it to other than take good pictures.

i wish the processor was a little faster, but that has not been an issue as of late
an optimized 5800 with a good fast theme is awsome...the other day i was running garmin, listening to music with my wife texting all at the same time with no hangups or hicups or nothing...it was nice indeed.

pros...cons

5mp camera/will it really make that big of a difference?
pictures online  are not helping me..and reviews just never turn me on really

captive touchscreen like iphone/i presonnally never had a problem with the 5800s touch at all
coming from a samsung eternity(as a bunch of us did)it has alway been good for me

and how about support??
i really cant find any forums like this one spacific to the x6,just symbian ones that i already go to.
and updates?
are they droppping them for that phone like they do for the 5800?
my 5800 is so much better of a phone now than when i got it feb 2009,by leaps and bounds.
i cant find any good info out there to support these questions i have...it sucks

16gb of space/i never have used all the space on an 8gb so this doesnt really matter to me

i can keep my garmin on this OS/symbian 3 it most likely will not work

i found some brand new online for around 300 bucks,i just dont think i can wait for the c7 to come down in price,it will probly top 450 -500 to start, just to be a symbian 3 test subject

and the n8 is out of my price reach

i hate looking for a new phone.
maybe ill just get a good camera for like 300 bucks and keep the 5800 till deth do us part

end rant

That is all the same crap I debated too. If I were you, I would not buy that phone for $300. Dell had it for $230 a week ago. I'm almost positive they will put it back up for a cheap price again sometime soon. And see I didn't get it probably mainly because I am gonna switch to Sprint and get that EVO 4G at the end of the year. So I decided to leg it out with my faulty 5800. Where as you don't have any issues with yours and now you are thinking of switching. Personally if they dropped the price of the N97 mini to a reasonable/spectacular deal, I would probably jump on that one compared to the X6. And to tell you the truth, I do not think Nokia's move to Symbian 3 will be all that spectacular. I think they are about to take a dive. With the new Iphone just killing phones and all the Androids coming out, they are dominating the market.

i have come to a crossroad and decided....i can not give up my 5800 right now,i love it to much
it does everything i need it to perfectly and just keeps getting better

i did something drastic to make my camera a little more barable till income tax time
i broke half of the lenscover glass over the camera off, leaving the flash area intact
with the cover on,you cant even tell

and i really beleive in the difference most of the time.moving pictures are still hit and miss
here is a picture in the dark with my 5800 lastnight

this is probably the least amout of "noise"or "grainy"or whatever you wanna call it,i have ever had with this camera.

im still waiting for photo acute to go 5800...i loved it on my n80ie.
it prosseced stuff some how to give you 4 times to picture quality...3mp=12mp.
im not saying it worked that good, but it did mke a hell of a difference on the n80ie
google it,great program for 3rd edition phones

for now im good, till income tax is around, buy then, all the phones im drooing over now(n8,c7)
will have had  a chance to be launched and come down in price and work out some symbian 3 bugs
i wonder what the upcoming phones will look like for 2011
